Half-tracks for my Panzer Lehr nearly finished, need some crew and passengers and maybe some stowage on the sides.

Total Battle Miniature ruined house exterior is done, interior needs redecoration.

indeed, most of the painting is done so it's on the weathering; subtle streaks on the side panels & will try pigments for the first time.

Panzer Lehr Reinforcements

altough they didn't really receive any reinforcements during the Normandy fighting, here are some :-)

Another day, another update...

All is coming along just nicely for the big Convention in june. Finishing a Panzer IV and some more terrain. Drilled some 50mm bases for my trees (glued some washers on for added weight and filled the center hole and sides with some cheap Poly-Filla.

The Panzer IV needs his Shurzen, his Commander and some weathering. It represents a vehicle from the 5.Kompanie, 3rd Zug fielded by the Panzer Lehr in Normandy. You can say what you want from the Lehr but they looked bad-ass in those Assault tunics.

Ordered some half-tracks; 2x 251/1 and 1 SdKfz 251/10 and a stummel. I like mounted infantry :p

Some more updates

Scored some nice Solido 1/50 vehicles. A Dodge WC54 Ambulance, a DUKW & some GMC trucks. Some look small but the scale is almost spot on. The figs look too big but it's just due to the bases.

Most of these will be used for the Battle of the Bulge project. The DUKW was just too cool to not buy ;-)

 

Another small teaser for the upcoming Normandy tably. Should be finished in july for our Wargaming Conference MonkeyCon.
